CHRIST’S CROSS, MY FREEDOM
The cross of Christ is no burden to bear,
But the place of freedom from burden where,
I am released from slavery to sin and shame,
Laid on Jesus, His blood I claim,
To set me free from guilt and death.
To wash me clean just as He said,
In grace to walk as God’s dear son,
Because of Jesus, what He’s done.
The cross is the place where daily I die,
In death to self I really fly
In the Spirit’s freedom and His power
To serve King Jesus each day and hour.
All because He died for me,
In His life I’m alive and free.
